The VX Compact is the kind of Warzone weapon that rewards players who want speed without giving up the ability to take disciplined fights beyond immediate SMG distance. Its compact profile naturally lends itself to aggressive rotations, building-to-building pressure, and quick follow-up engagements, but this setup pushes the gun toward a more versatile role. Rather than building entirely around raw movement, the focus here is on making the VX Compact calmer, quieter, and easier to trust when an opponent is not standing five meters away. The result is a weapon that fits particularly well with mobile players who like to stay involved in fights but do not want every engagement to become a point-blank gamble.
This VX Compact configuration combines suppression, a more capable barrel, a clean optic, improved weapon control, and a larger magazine. It sacrifices some of the extreme speed you could chase with a dedicated close-quarters setup, but in return it gives the weapon a much broader operating window.

The 14.3" Redwell Ascent is the foundation of the build because it helps move the VX Compact away from being purely a short-range option. A longer, more performance-oriented barrel is especially valuable in Warzone, where gunfights regularly stretch across streets, rooftops, courtyards, and open rotations. Paired with the VAS 5.56 Suppressor, the weapon becomes better suited to taking those fights without immediately advertising your position to every nearby squad. Suppression is particularly useful when cleaning up isolated targets or firing from an unexpected angle, since it gives you a better chance of relocating before another team reacts.
Control is equally important once the weapon is being asked to work outside its easiest range. The Flowguard Foregrip helps keep sustained fire manageable, allowing you to make smaller corrections instead of constantly fighting the gun during a long burst. That pairs nicely with the Lethal Tools ELO, which gives the build a straightforward sight picture without covering too much of the screen. On a compact automatic weapon, I prefer an optic that lets me acquire targets quickly rather than one that encourages me to treat the gun like a long-range rifle.
The Acclivity Extended Mag II completes the setup by giving the VX Compact the ammunition capacity needed for Warzone's armor system and squad fights. A small magazine can feel perfectly acceptable against one enemy, then become a serious problem when a second player swings immediately after the first. With extra rounds available, you have more freedom to finish a down, transfer onto another opponent, or keep firing through a doorway while teammates reposition. The larger magazine may slightly reduce the weapon's lightweight feel, but that is a reasonable trade when the alternative is being caught reloading halfway through a push.
Taken together, these attachments create a noticeably more composed version of the VX Compact. It retains enough responsiveness for aggressive play, yet the added stability and clearer sight picture make medium-range tracking far less frustrating. I would not build around the expectation of challenging dedicated long-range rifles across huge stretches of open terrain, but inside the distances where most urban and Resurgence fights actually happen, this setup gives you plenty of flexibility.
One situation where I really like the idea of this build is when a team is moving between buildings and somebody appears across the street rather than directly inside your room. I wouldn't instantly sprint toward them just because the VX Compact is a compact weapon. With this setup, I'd take the extra half-second to aim properly, use the Flowguard Foregrip's added control, and force the opponent behind cover first. Once they are cracked or separated from their squad, then the mobility of the weapon becomes far more useful.
The suppressor also changes how I'd approach third-party opportunities. If two squads are already fighting around a rooftop or courtyard, firing immediately from the first angle you see can attract unwanted attention. I'd rather find a side angle, eliminate or badly damage one player, then move before repeating the peek. The VX Compact is much more convincing when you're making enemies react to you than when you're standing still and exchanging full magazines from the same piece of cover.
Against moving targets, short corrections matter more than trying to force an uninterrupted spray. If someone is crossing an open road at medium range, I'd track the upper torso and let the improved control do its job rather than dragging the reticle aggressively after every movement. The Lethal Tools ELO helps here because the sight stays visually simple. Once the target gets too far away, though, I would stop chasing marginal damage. Giving away your position for a few armor hit markers is rarely worth it.
Indoors, there is still a limit to how confidently I would challenge dedicated close-range setups. If an enemy suddenly slides through a doorway at point-blank range, a faster SMG-style weapon may have the advantage. Rather than repeatedly forcing those fights, I'd use staircases, doorframes, furniture, or a short retreat to create a few extra meters. Even a small amount of separation gives this version of the VX Compact more time to settle onto target.
The Acclivity Extended Mag II becomes particularly useful in Resurgence, where another enemy often appears before you've had a comfortable opportunity to reload. I would avoid reflexively swapping magazines after every elimination. If there are still 20 or more rounds available and footsteps are closing in, keeping the weapon ready may be safer than starting a reload animation. In Battle Royale, where engagements can develop more slowly, I'd be more deliberate about topping up before crossing exposed terrain or moving into the next building.
A cracked opponent running around a corner is another moment where discipline matters. I wouldn't chase automatically. If the corner leads into a building occupied by their squad, that extra kill can quickly turn into a death. With the VX Compact, I'd rather hold the escape route for a moment, listen for movement, and decide whether the push actually gives me an advantage. The gun is mobile enough to chase when the opportunity is clean; it does not require you to turn every armor break into a reckless sprint.
This VX Compact Warzone loadout gives the weapon a useful balance between compact-gun mobility and the control needed for more demanding engagements. The 14.3" Redwell Ascent and VAS 5.56 Suppressor extend its practical usefulness, while the Flowguard Foregrip and Lethal Tools ELO make target tracking much cleaner. Add the Acclivity Extended Mag II, and the build becomes far more comfortable when several enemies enter the fight at once.
It is a strong choice for players who prefer moving with their squad, taking intelligent angles, and switching quickly between aggressive pushes and controlled medium-range fire. Treat the VX Compact as a flexible fighting tool rather than a pure room-clearing weapon, and this setup can cover a surprisingly large portion of the engagements Warzone throws at you.
