The VMP is built for players who prefer to dictate the pace of a Warzone fight. It is quick, aggressive and particularly dangerous when engagements move through buildings, narrow streets or crowded cover. Its mobility gives it the character of a true close-range weapon, but its rapid fire rate can make sustained accuracy difficult without the right attachments.
This VMP loadout focuses on controlling that aggression rather than slowing the weapon down. The combination reduces recoil, improves handling and provides a clean sight picture without stripping away the responsive movement that makes the VMP appealing. It suits players who want to pressure weakened squads, clear enclosed positions and remain difficult to track during close-quarters gunfights.
This setup uses four attachments to strengthen the VMP’s most important qualities while keeping the weapon light and responsive. Instead of forcing it into an unnatural long-range role, the build creates a more dependable SMG for short and intermediate distances.
| Attachment Slot | Selected Attachment |
|---|---|
| Muzzle | LTI Stentorian Brake |
| Rear Grip | MFS Tactical Command Grip |
| Underbarrel | Quickstep Foregrip |
| Optic | Fang HoverPoint ELO |
The LTI Stentorian Brake gives the build its foundation by making the VMP’s recoil easier to manage. A high fire rate is only useful if enough rounds remain on target, especially when an opponent begins strafing or tries to escape behind cover. The brake helps keep longer bursts under control, allowing the weapon to remain threatening beyond the immediate hip-fire distances associated with many SMGs.
That added control works naturally with the MFS Tactical Command Grip. The rear grip improves the VMP’s handling and steadiness, producing a more composed response when aiming and firing under pressure. Warzone engagements frequently involve imperfect conditions: an enemy can appear while the player is sprinting, sliding around a doorway or rapidly switching targets. The grip helps the weapon settle without making it feel heavy or reluctant.
Mobility remains central to the configuration, which is why the Quickstep Foregrip is such an important selection. It supports an active style based on strafing, changing angles and avoiding static challenges. Rather than planting your feet and attempting to win through raw damage alone, the foregrip encourages movement during the duel. That is particularly valuable against players who are pre-aiming a predictable entrance or holding the top of a staircase.
The Fang HoverPoint ELO completes the build with a clean, uncomplicated aiming picture. The VMP’s iron sights may be usable, but an optic makes it easier to follow moving targets through visual clutter, muzzle flash and the effects of a chaotic squad battle. Together, these attachments create a weapon that feels controlled without becoming passive: recoil is calmer, aim tracking is clearer and movement remains quick enough to support an assertive SMG role.
There is no extended magazine in this version, so ammunition capacity is the clear trade-off. In return, every equipped component contributes directly to control, visibility or handling. The result is a specialised build that rewards accurate bursts and disciplined target selection rather than continuous spraying.
What I like about this VMP setup is how naturally it fits fights around doorways and layered cover. If a squad is occupying a two-storey building, I would avoid charging through the most obvious entrance. I would use the weapon’s mobility to circle the structure, find a window or secondary staircase and force the defenders to adjust. The VMP becomes much harder to deal with when the opponent has to turn before firing.
When someone crosses a short stretch of open ground, the cleaner optic and improved recoil control make tracking considerably more comfortable. I would still resist the temptation to empty the entire magazine at maximum speed. Controlled bursts are safer if the target is approaching the edge of cover, and they leave enough ammunition to deal with a teammate following the same route. Missing the opening shots with a high-rate-of-fire SMG can drain the magazine alarmingly quickly.
Inside a building, I would pre-aim whenever there is a strong chance that an opponent is holding the next room. Mobility does not mean every corner needs to be attacked with a slide. Sometimes the better play is to pause outside the doorway, listen for movement and enter with the Fang HoverPoint already centred at chest height. Against an enemy jumping across the room, the clear sight and steadier recoil should help keep the burst connected.
The build becomes less comfortable when a fight stretches across a rooftop or between distant pieces of cover. I would not try to challenge a stable assault rifle simply because the muzzle makes the recoil manageable. Recoil control cannot replace damage retention, bullet velocity or magnification. If the enemy is too far away for the VMP to apply immediate pressure, reposition or switch to a longer-range primary instead of feeding armour plates into a bad engagement.
In Resurgence, the setup is well suited to frequent building pushes and fast recoveries between fights. Plate whenever there is a safe moment, reload before chasing footsteps and avoid assuming that a cracked player is alone. A downed enemy can also be used as bait; rather than rushing straight toward the body, I would watch the angle their teammate is likely to use for the revive.
Battle Royale demands slightly more restraint. Rotations across open terrain expose the VMP’s limited reach, so I would pair it with an assault rifle, light machine gun or sniper-support option capable of handling distant threats. Once the rotation reaches dense cover, the VMP can take over. The small habit that matters most is checking the magazine before moving into the next room—four excellent attachments will not rescue a push that begins with seven rounds.
This VMP loadout preserves the speed and close-range intensity of the weapon while addressing the control issues that can make rapid-fire SMGs unreliable. The LTI Stentorian Brake, MFS Tactical Command Grip and Quickstep Foregrip produce a steadier but still mobile platform, while the Fang HoverPoint ELO keeps targets visible during frantic engagements.
It is an appealing choice for aggressive Warzone players who value movement, clean tracking and quick positional changes. Treat the VMP as a precision-focused entry weapon rather than an excuse to spray endlessly, and this compact four-attachment build can become a formidable companion for clearing buildings and dismantling close-range pushes.
