The VMP is built for players who prefer to dictate the pace of a Warzone fight rather than wait for an opponent to make the first move. Its rapid fire rate and responsive handling make it a dangerous close-range option, particularly when clearing buildings, chasing damaged enemies or fighting through the cramped sections of Resurgence maps. The weapon can feel less forgiving once recoil and magazine pressure enter the equation, but the right setup turns it into a much more dependable secondary.
This VMP build leans heavily into aggressive mobility without abandoning the control needed to stay accurate during sustained bursts. It is designed for quick pushes, sharp changes of direction and fights where both players are moving constantly. Pair it with a reliable assault rifle, LMG or sniper support weapon, and it can handle most of the close-quarters work that decides whether a squad survives a difficult rotation.
The attachments below strengthen the VMP’s recoil control, ammunition capacity and movement characteristics while preserving the fast handling expected from a competitive submachine gun.
| Attachment Slot | Selected Attachment |

| Muzzle | LTI Stentorian Brake |

| Magazine | Erudite Extended Mag |
| Barrel | 10.9" Gambol Light Barrel |

The LTI Stentorian Brake and VAS Convergence Foregrip provide the control foundation for the entire build. The VMP’s rate of fire can quickly exaggerate small aiming errors, especially when tracking an opponent who is sliding across a doorway or strafing behind cover. These two attachments help keep the weapon settled through longer bursts, reducing the amount of manual correction required once the first few rounds have left the barrel. The result is not a long-range laser, nor should it be treated as one, but the recoil becomes predictable enough to challenge enemies beyond immediate room-clearing distance.
That added control also complements the Erudite Extended Mag. A larger magazine is particularly valuable on a weapon that burns through ammunition so rapidly, as missed rounds can otherwise turn a favourable push into an awkward reload. The extended capacity gives you more freedom to transfer fire between two nearby opponents, finish a downed enemy when necessary or maintain pressure while a teammate changes position. There is still a reason to watch the ammunition counter carefully, but the build is far less likely to run dry in the middle of a multi-player engagement.
The 10.9" Gambol Light Barrel and Monarch Move Pad shift the setup back towards mobility. Rather than overloading the VMP with heavy control attachments and making it feel sluggish, this combination keeps movement responsive during close-range fights. Faster repositioning and more comfortable strafing make it harder for enemies to track you, while the weapon remains quick enough to raise when an opponent appears unexpectedly. Together, all five attachments create a balanced aggressive setup: stable during sustained fire, mobile around cover and equipped with enough ammunition to survive chaotic squad encounters.
I would treat this VMP as a dedicated pressure weapon, not as something to carry through exposed terrain with no plan. The build feels most convincing when there are walls, vehicles, staircases or other pieces of cover that let you shorten the distance safely. If an enemy is watching from a rooftop across the street, I would not stand in the open and attempt to compete with an assault rifle. Break the sightline, approach from another angle and force that player into a range where the VMP’s fire rate actually matters.
Inside a building, pre-aiming every corner can make you too slow and predictable. I prefer to keep moving until there is a strong audio cue or a clear indication that someone is holding the next room. That is the moment to settle the aim and let the recoil attachments do their work. Against an opponent sliding through a doorway, avoid dragging the reticle wildly after the target. The VMP fires quickly enough that a controlled adjustment is usually more effective than trying to mirror every movement.
The extended magazine encourages aggression, but it should not encourage carelessness. After downing the first member of a squad, I would check the remaining ammunition before immediately chasing the second. If there are only a handful of rounds left, use the downed player’s position to create hesitation, reload behind cover and then continue the push. A fast weapon with an empty magazine is just an elaborate way of losing a fight you had already started to win.
Resurgence gives this setup plenty of opportunities to shine because enemies are frequently compressed into small buildings and crowded final circles. It is excellent for taking a staircase, clearing a cramped rooftop access point or punishing a player who lands back on their equipment. In Battle Royale, I would be more selective. The VMP works well during contract fights and late-game building rotations, but it needs a longer-range partner when the circle pulls across open ground.
There will also be moments when chasing a cracked opponent is the wrong decision. If the enemy disappears around a corner where two teammates could be waiting, slowing down for half a second can save the entire engagement. I would use the VMP’s mobility to change the entry angle rather than following the exact path of the retreating player. The weapon rewards speed, but the best pushes are rarely the ones made in a straight line.
This VMP loadout captures what makes the weapon appealing while correcting the problems that can undermine it during demanding Warzone fights. The LTI Stentorian Brake and VAS Convergence Foregrip keep its rapid fire under control, the Erudite Extended Mag provides valuable squad-fighting capacity, and the Gambol Light Barrel with Monarch Move Pad maintains the mobility required for aggressive play.
It will not replace a primary weapon during long rotations or distant rooftop battles. Give it cover, a manageable approach and an opponent within pushing distance, however, and the VMP becomes a sharp, relentless secondary capable of turning a small opening into a full squad wipe.
