The VMP is built for players who want to dictate the pace of close-range fights rather than wait for an opponent to make the first move. Its rapid handling and aggressive damage profile give it the tools to overwhelm enemies inside buildings, around cover and during chaotic squad pushes. However, a strong VMP setup also needs enough control to prevent its speed from turning into wasted bullets once the target moves beyond point-blank range.
This Warzone build keeps the weapon responsive while improving its recoil behaviour and ammunition capacity. It suits an active playstyle based on quick repositioning, confident pushes and constant pressure. The VMP will not replace a true assault rifle across open terrain, but it can stretch beyond typical SMG distance when fired with discipline.
The attachments below create a mobile but controllable VMP capable of handling consecutive engagements without sacrificing the qualities that make the weapon dangerous up close.
| Attachment Slot | Selected Attachment |
|---|---|
| Muzzle | LTI Stentorian Brake |
| Barrel | 10.9" Gambol Light Barrel |
| Underbarrel | VAS Convergence Foregrip |

The LTI Stentorian Brake and VAS Convergence Foregrip form the stabilising core of this loadout. A fast-firing weapon can become difficult to manage when the first burst fails to finish an opponent, particularly if the target starts sliding or strafing across the reticle. These two attachments help calm the VMP’s recoil pattern and make sustained fire more predictable. That added consistency matters when tracking enemies through doorways or trying to land the last few bullets on someone escaping behind cover.
Mobility remains central to the setup thanks to the 10.9" Gambol Light Barrel. The VMP should feel quick enough to support sudden changes of direction, aggressive entries and rapid reactions after sprinting. Instead of converting the SMG into a heavier mid-range platform, this barrel preserves the lively handling expected from an entry-fragger’s weapon. The result is a build that can snap between targets and move naturally through confined spaces without feeling burdened by its recoil-control attachments.
The Greaves Valour Pad reinforces that balance by supporting the weapon’s handling and movement-oriented identity. It works particularly well with the barrel because the build does not have to rely solely on raw sprint speed; usable strafe movement and responsive aim are just as valuable during a gunfight. Against an opponent holding a predictable angle, being able to move laterally while keeping the VMP settled can be more effective than charging straight into their sights.
Finally, the Erudite Extended Mag gives the setup the endurance required for squad modes. The VMP’s rate of fire can empty a standard magazine alarmingly quickly, especially when armour plates are involved. The extended capacity creates more room for missed shots, target switches and enemies attempting to trade a downed teammate. There is still a need to reload intelligently, but the larger magazine makes the weapon considerably less punishing during messy encounters.
Taken together, these attachments deliver an aggressive VMP that remains manageable outside immediate room-clearing distance. Recoil control and aiming stability prevent it from becoming unreliable, while the lighter components retain enough mobility for pushes and evasive movement. It is a practical compromise: fast where an SMG needs to be fast, but composed enough to challenge enemies who are not standing directly in front of the muzzle.
When I’m building around a weapon like this, I want to manufacture unfair fights. I would not casually challenge an assault rifle from the opposite side of a street. I would cross behind vehicles, walls or smoke, shorten the distance and force the enemy to react after I have already reached stronger cover. The VMP rewards pressure, but only when that pressure has a route behind it.
A cracked opponent retreating into a building is exactly the sort of target I would chase—provided I know where the rest of the squad is. The extended magazine gives enough flexibility to finish that player and immediately contest a teammate arriving for the trade. What I would avoid is spending half the magazine firing through an uncertain doorway before entering. With such a high fire rate, speculative shots can leave the weapon nearly empty at the moment they are actually needed.
The recoil attachments make short mid-range engagements possible, but I would still use controlled bursts against an enemy crossing open ground. Holding the trigger indefinitely may feel natural with an SMG, yet a brief reset can keep the reticle from drifting away during a longer track. If the target reaches cover without being downed, I would reposition rather than repeat the same peek. The VMP is much more convincing when the opponent has to search for the next angle.
Inside a staircase or narrow corridor, pre-aiming becomes more valuable than trying to sprint through every encounter. The build retains good mobility, but it cannot cancel out an enemy who is already centred on the doorway. I would slow down for the final few metres, check the most likely head-glitch and then accelerate once the first opponent is displaced. That change of pace often matters more than another tiny handling improvement.
Resurgence naturally gives this VMP more opportunities to stay involved in the action. Quick rotations between adjacent buildings, repeated close-range fights and rapid squad recoveries all suit its strengths. In Battle Royale, I would pair it with a dependable long-range rifle and treat the VMP as the weapon drawn before entering cover-heavy areas. Carrying it across a bare hillside while enemies hold elevated ground is asking the gun to solve the wrong problem.
One habit is worth developing: reload before plating only when the immediate threat has genuinely disappeared. The Erudite Extended Mag offers breathing room, so there is no need to panic after every elimination. If footsteps are still approaching, I would rather meet the next enemy with fifteen rounds and useful positioning than be caught halfway through an unnecessary reload animation.
This VMP loadout sharpens the weapon’s aggressive character without leaving it uncontrollable as soon as a fight moves beyond the nearest doorway. The LTI Stentorian Brake and VAS Convergence Foregrip provide a steadier firing platform, while the Gambol Light Barrel, Greaves Valour Pad and Erudite Extended Mag preserve speed and improve its ability to survive multi-enemy engagements.
Use it to collapse space, pressure weakened squads and move through buildings with purpose. The build will not win every distant challenge, but once the fight reaches the VMP’s preferred territory, opponents receive very little time to recover.
