The Strider-300 rewards players who can turn a brief sightline into a decisive elimination. In Black Ops 7 Multiplayer, this hard-hitting sniper rifle is particularly effective when holding long lanes, punishing predictable movement and covering objectives from an unexpected angle. Its power is undeniable, but the weapon can feel cumbersome if its handling is left untouched.
This build gives the Strider-300 a more responsive character without sacrificing the velocity and consistency needed for accurate long-range shots. Faster aiming, quicker reloads and stronger projectile performance make it suitable for mobile snipers who relocate frequently instead of spending an entire match watching one doorway. It still requires deliberate positioning, but it no longer feels like a rifle that must remain permanently anchored at the back of the map.
The setup combines a velocity-focused barrel and ammunition conversion with attachments designed to improve the Strider-300’s handling. The result is a practical Multiplayer sniper that can establish control over a lane, take a shot and move before the opposing team closes the distance.

The 25" Bowen Grooved Barrel and .300 WM Overpressured ammunition form the ballistic core of this Strider-300 loadout. Together, they reinforce the rifle’s performance across longer sightlines, where projectile speed and dependable damage matter more than raw mobility. Increased bullet velocity reduces the amount of adjustment required against enemies sprinting between cover, making the rifle feel more immediate when firing across large Multiplayer maps. The combination is especially valuable when watching elevated routes, exterior lanes or objective approaches where opponents are rarely standing still.
That heavier long-range emphasis is balanced by the Hatch Quick Grip and 1MW Instinct Laser. A sniper rifle can have excellent damage statistics and still struggle in Multiplayer if it takes too long to become accurate after spotting a target. These handling attachments make the Strider-300 more comfortable when snapping onto an enemy, correcting aim during a peek or preparing a shot after changing positions. The laser also supports a more assertive style of sniping, although its potential visibility means careless pre-aiming can reveal where the shot is coming from.
The Carnation Fast Mag completes the configuration by reducing the disruption caused by reloading. That benefit is easy to underestimate until several enemies begin pressuring the same lane. A quicker magazine change creates more opportunities to reload behind brief cover, return to the angle and support teammates before control of the area is lost. It also suits the rhythm of this build: secure one or two eliminations, break line of sight, refresh the weapon and reappear from somewhere slightly different.
These five attachments do not transform the Strider-300 into a lightweight quick-scoping rifle, nor should they. Instead, they preserve its identity as a powerful sniper while removing some of the downtime that makes heavier weapons vulnerable in fast Multiplayer matches. The improved velocity helps shots connect cleanly, the handling upgrades make target acquisition less laborious, and the fast magazine keeps the weapon relevant during sustained objective pressure.
I’d treat this Strider-300 as a rifle for controlling movement rather than chasing every red dot on the minimap. If the enemy team has to cross a courtyard or climb onto a predictable platform, I want to be aimed near the point where they will appear—not dragging the scope across half the screen after they are already visible. The build is quicker than a completely range-focused setup, but preparation still wins more fights than frantic corrections.
A missed shot should usually trigger a decision. If the opponent disappears behind cover and now knows exactly where the sniper is positioned, I wouldn’t remain scoped in and wait for the repeek unless another angle is protected by teammates. Move a few metres, change elevation or watch the escape route instead. Even a small relocation can force the enemy to expose themselves while searching the original position.
Against moving targets, the improved bullet velocity allows for relatively modest lead at normal Multiplayer distances. I’d keep the crosshair close to the upper torso while tracking a sprinting enemy rather than attempting an unnecessarily precise headshot. Landing the first reliable hit matters more than producing a highlight, especially when the target is only visible for a second between two pieces of cover.
The uncomfortable moments come inside buildings and around tight objectives. If an SMG player surprises me at the top of a staircase, trying to manufacture a perfect scoped shot is rarely the percentage play. I’d switch to a secondary weapon, slide away from the doorway or use equipment to interrupt the push. The laser can help with aggressive target acquisition, but it does not erase the basic disadvantage of carrying a long sniper rifle in confined rooms.
Domination and Hardpoint demand restraint. A sniper does not always need to stand directly on the objective to influence it; covering the entrance that defenders are most likely to use may be more valuable. From a side angle, the Strider-300 can eliminate the first player entering the hill and force the rest of the squad to hesitate. Once that lane becomes crowded with grenades or multiple enemies begin flanking, I’d rotate before the pressure reaches my position rather than attempt another exposed shot.
The Carnation Fast Mag makes reloading less painful, but timing still matters. I prefer to reload after breaking line of sight, not immediately after every elimination. Sometimes the next opponent is already following the first through the same doorway, and having a chambered round is worth far more than beginning the next exchange with a full magazine. With this rifle, one available shot can be enough to stop an entire push from developing.
This Strider-300 loadout gives Black Ops 7 Multiplayer players a convincing balance between long-range authority and usable handling. The 25" Bowen Grooved Barrel and .300 WM Overpressured ammunition strengthen its ballistic performance, while the Hatch Quick Grip, 1MW Instinct Laser and Carnation Fast Mag keep the rifle responsive between engagements.
It is a build for snipers who enjoy shaping the map from strong sightlines but refuse to remain predictable. Find the first angle, take the clean shot and relocate before the enemy’s revenge route reaches you—the Strider-300 is at its most dangerous when opponents are always looking one position behind.
