The ISO Nightshade is built for aggressive multiplayer combat in Modern Warfare 4, but stripping an SMG down for maximum movement speed can make its recoil difficult to manage. This Season 1 loadout takes a more calculated approach, combining the mobility of No Stock with three attachments focused on keeping the weapon under control.
The result is a five-attachment setup designed for players who want to push objectives, challenge opponents at close range, and maintain enough stability to deal with enemies positioned slightly farther away.
| Attachment Slot | Attachment |
|---|---|
| Rear Grip | Demo STP-1 |
| Stock | No Stock |
| Underbarrel | FSS Fireline Grip |
| Barrel | ZLR Carbon-900 |
| Muzzle | Haebang ORC70 |
This configuration makes an important trade-off: it gives up some of the stability associated with a conventional stock to preserve the responsiveness expected from an aggressive SMG.
No Stock is arguably the defining choice in this configuration. Removing the stock favours mobility and quicker movement, making the ISO Nightshade more suitable for players who constantly reposition between engagements.
That flexibility comes at a cost. Without a conventional stock, controlling the weapon during sustained fire becomes more demanding, particularly when attempting to track moving targets beyond typical SMG distances.
The Demo STP-1 rear grip complements the mobility-focused approach by improving ADS responsiveness. However, it also introduces a recoil-control compromise, meaning these two attachments create a setup that needs additional stabilisation elsewhere.
This is where the remaining three attachments become especially important.
The FSS Fireline Grip and Haebang ORC70 form the recoil-management foundation of the build.
The Fireline Grip helps reduce horizontal and vertical recoil, making it easier to maintain consistent aim during automatic fire. The Haebang ORC70 focuses particularly on vertical recoil control, helping counter the upward movement experienced during longer bursts.
Both attachments involve handling compromises, but their purpose is clear: offset some of the control sacrificed by running No Stock and the Demo STP-1.
The ZLR Carbon-900 barrel adds another layer of stability. Its recoil-control benefits help make the ISO Nightshade less dependent on extremely short bursts, although the barrel also carries a movement penalty.
Together, these attachments create an interesting balance. The weapon retains the movement-oriented character of a lightweight SMG while incorporating enough recoil management to support more deliberate gunfights.
This loadout is particularly suited to players who prefer moving between cover positions rather than holding long sightlines.
In objective-based multiplayer modes, its mobility-focused setup makes sense for approaching contested areas, changing angles after engagements, and navigating tight sections of the map.
The important distinction is that improved recoil control does not turn the ISO Nightshade into an assault rifle. Longer engagements still demand careful shot placement, and challenging opponents equipped for ranged combat is unlikely to play to the weapon's strengths.
Players should also avoid treating No Stock as a free mobility upgrade. The additional recoil demands more deliberate control, especially when tracking opponents who are strafing or moving between cover.
For larger multiplayer maps, the most practical approach is to use cover and flanking routes to close the distance before committing to a fight.
The main attraction of this configuration is its attempt to reconcile two competing priorities: aggressive movement and manageable recoil.
Players who value maximum stability may prefer a conventional stock, while those comfortable controlling recoil manually can take advantage of the more responsive setup.
For Season 1 multiplayer, this ISO Nightshade build is an option for aggressive players who want mobility without abandoning recoil control entirely. Its effectiveness will depend heavily on positioning, engagement distance, and the player's ability to manage the compromises introduced by No Stock.
