Verdansk Is Coming to COD Mobile: Season 10 Release Date, Gulag, and Battle Royale Changes
Verdansk arrives in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 10 on November 11, bringing the Gulag, iconic Warzone locations, new movement mechanics, and major Battle Royale updates.

Call of Duty: Mobile is preparing to welcome Verdansk to Battle Royale on November 11, 2026, when Season 10: 7th Anniversary officially launches at 4 PM PT.
The developers have shared a new Verdansk trailer, offering another look at the iconic Call of Duty location ahead of its mobile debut.
However, Verdansk's arrival represents more than an additional map. Season 10 introduces substantial changes to Battle Royale gameplay, including updated movement mechanics, a redesigned perk system, and the Gulag.
Verdansk Brings Iconic Warzone Locations to COD Mobile
Verdansk will introduce more than 15 major points of interest, bringing several recognizable locations from the original Warzone experience to mobile players.
Confirmed locations include:
- Superstore, featuring a large commercial complex.
- Airport, with extensive open areas and structures.
- Downtown, offering dense urban environments.
- Stadium, one of Verdansk's most recognizable landmarks.
- Prison, a distinctive fortified location.
- Storage Town, with numerous buildings and potential cover positions.
- Hospital, Military Base, Dam, and several additional areas.
The variety of environments should create different opportunities for close-range engagements, long-distance fights, and squad positioning.
For players unfamiliar with Verdansk, learning the distances between major locations and identifying useful rotation routes will be particularly important.
The Gulag and New Movement Mechanics Are Coming
One of the most significant additions is the Gulag, which gives eliminated players an opportunity to return to the match.
After their first elimination, players will enter the Gulag and compete against another opponent. Winning allows them to redeploy, while losing means relying on a teammate to purchase their return through a Buy Station.
Season 10 also introduces several gameplay adjustments:
- Parachutes replace wingsuits on Verdansk and can be deployed during matches.
- Players can break through doors by sprinting into them.
- Downed teammates can be dragged while being revived.
- Movement and airborne controls are being updated.
- New third-person animations are being introduced.
These changes are especially relevant because several gameplay improvements extend beyond Verdansk to the wider Battle Royale experience.
Battle Royale Loadouts Are Getting New Options
The update also introduces changes to how players access combat abilities.
Battle Royale Wildcards are being renamed Perks, which can be equipped through loadouts or acquired during matches. This provides additional opportunities to customize equipment around different combat situations.
Meanwhile, Scorestreaks are becoming Field Assets. According to the official announcement, these abilities will generally be less common but more valuable, with additional purchasing options available through Buy Stations.
These adjustments could make resource management and loadout selection more consequential, although their actual competitive impact will need to be assessed after launch.
Verdansk Will Also Be Available in DMZ: Recon
Verdansk isn't limited to traditional Battle Royale.
The map is also being introduced to DMZ: Recon, bringing additional challenges including the Chemist boss and a Prison Highlight Contract.
Players interested in exploring the map before committing to more competitive Battle Royale encounters will also have access to Create Your Truth, a limited-time narrative playlist featuring infinite respawns and objectives designed to introduce Verdansk's mechanics and locations.
